Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Yorkville, IL store team. The role focuses on delivering a great shopping experience by assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining store cleanliness.

You will help with stock, unloading trucks, and ensuring safety and friendliness across all store areas. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
