Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the cash register, ensure the security of cash and company assets, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

This part-time role emphasizes friendly, professional interactions with customers and fellow team members. You will support unloading merchandise, restocking shelves, and handling routine duties as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
