Job summary

Dollar Tree in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, and maintain store appearance.

This part-time position requires strong customer service skills, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will work at the register, stock shelves, and help unload merchandise while keeping the store clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
