Job summary

Dollar Tree in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide excellent service to shoppers and support store operations. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, and help with stocking, stocking shelves, receiving merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role emphasizes friendly interactions with customers and team members, adherence to store policies, and flexibility to perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (walking, standing, bending, etc.).
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful store environment with staff and customers.
• Keep the store clean, restocked, and presentable, including restrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
