Job summary

Michaels MOHEGAN LAKE, NY store is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure fast checkout. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain planograms to keep the store well‑merchandised.

The role supports omnichannel processes (BOPIS/SFS) and participates in safety, shrink, and policy adherence. Position requires standing, lifting, and weekend/nights shifts with benefits including 401(k) and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise returns/go-backs for a well-merchandised stock.
• Perform in-stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; promote a positive image.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
