Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Huntsville, TN. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and organized.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor with customers and teammates. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Create a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
