Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Fort Scott, KS is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the cash register, and maintain security of cash and assets while keeping the store well-stocked and clean. This role also supports unloading trucks, stocking, and daily store operations to ensure a positive shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment per standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team members.
• Keep store clean including restrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
