Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Shawnee, KS to provide a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and the capacity to work at a retail pace. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
