Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Duties include assisting customers, processing transactions at the register, stocking shelves, and ensuring the store remains clean and secure.

The role involves receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and maintaining a safe environment. Part time position located at 3550 Route 130, Irwin, PA 15642, with opportunities for growth and employee recognition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Keep the store clean, restocked, and presentable, including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
