Job summary

Family Dollar is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Brownsville, KY. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked. You’ll receive merchandise, unload shipments, and ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment for guests and team members.

The role emphasizes excellent service, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed. Part-time hours are available with this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders; maintain safety and security of cash.
