Job summary

Dollar Tree in Central, South Carolina is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

The role requires good communication, reliability, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the willingness to work part-time hours. Training provided; you’ll work with a friendly team and leadership to support daily store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
