Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Sumter, South Carolina to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store safe and clean.

Part-time role with opportunities to develop customer service skills and be part of a team that supports store operations. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness in all store areas, restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
