Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Massachusetts is seeking a part-time associate to assist customers, run registers, stock and maintain store appearance. You will help unload trucks, recover merchandise and ensure a clean, safe shopping environment.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and you will join a team focused on great service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
