Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a retail associate to be the frontline in customer service, stocking merchandise, and operating the checkout. You will help maintain plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation, assist customers, and ensure efficient store operations.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, building displays, stocking shelves, and rotating stock. A high school diploma is preferred, with basic math and cash-handling skills essential for daily transactions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and stock/rotate items on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
• Greet customers and operate the cash register to total purchases and bag merchandise.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners when needed.
• Maintain store cleanly and help with sidewalk displays as required.
