Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to serve customers, stock and display merchandise, and operate the point‑of‑sale system. You will unload trucks, set up displays, and keep the store clean and organized.

The role requires strong communication, basic math, and a solid understanding of safety policies. Prior experience in retail or customer service is helpful, with a HS diploma preferred and a team‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons; rotate stock to sales floor.
• Build and maintain displays per plan-o-gram guidance.
• Stock, face, and restock merchandise; assist customers on the floor.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and bag items.
• Collect payment and make change accurately.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Clean store areas and maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
