Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a retail associate to act as a point of contact for customers and help maintain plan‑o‑grams and displays. You will stock merchandise, assist with unloading trucks, and operate the cash register to complete sales.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise on the sales floor or in stock room.
• Build, rotate, and face displays; maintain plan-o-grams consistent with guidance.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and operate the cash register.
• Collect payment, make change, and bag merchandise.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Keep store front clean and support with sidewalk displays when required.
