Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to engage customers, assist with purchases, and support store operations. You will help ensure a Legendary Customer Experience by greeting customers, identifying needs, recommending products, and resolving issues with a positive attitude.

The role emphasizes attendance, adaptability to varied shifts, and teamwork. Prior retail or farming knowledge is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Provide Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, uncover needs, recommend products, add value, and appreciate customers.
• Operate cash register and computer following cash handling procedures.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
• Perform merchandising tasks, price changes, and basic janitorial duties.
• Ensure birds are safe and poultry areas are sanitized and maintained.
