Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and team members, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. The role requires availability for varied shifts including nights and weekends, with duties ranging from cash handling to merchandising and loading purchases.

Ideal candidates may have no experience, but retail or farming/ranching knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Greet the Customer, uncover needs, recommend product solutions, and add value while ensuring a legendary customer experience.
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise and participate in mandatory freight process.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures and merchandising, sets, and resets.
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and operate forklift (unless under 18).
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
• Ensure safety and well-being of birds, sanitize and maintain poultry holding tanks.
