Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. operates Michaels stores, seeking a team member for the LI-RIVERHEAD framing team. You will help customers, create custom framing solutions, and manage framing orders with accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, maintaining stock, and supporting Omni channel processes while upholding SOPs and safety standards in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
• Build customer relationships while creating framing solutions and deliver sales results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store.
