The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring at the LI-Lake Grove store to help customers create custom framing solutions and shop a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

You will build relationships, deliver friendly service, and ensure orders are completed with high quality while maintaining department standards. Candidates should have basic computer and measuring skills, and ideally retail experience with product sales.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience and experience selling products helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships by helping customers create custom framing solutions and by delivering friendly service.
• Complete framing orders accurately and on time to maintain high quality standards.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and assist with replenishment and merchandising.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash to standard procedures.
• Support Omni channel processes and assist with stock and truck unloading as needed.
