Qualifications

• Experience in credit underwriting, lending, risk management in financial services.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial statements, cash flow, and credit risk evaluation.
• Experience making or supporting credit approval/decline decisions.
• Ability to evaluate risk and structure financing solutions.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate credit decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, underwrite, structure, approve, or decline commercial loan/lease transactions from small to mid-range (up to $300,000).
• Evaluate financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, balance sheets, credit reports and other docs for creditworthiness.
• Make independent credit decisions balancing risk and growth.
• Structure financing considering down payments, loan terms, collateral, guarantors, and risk mitigation.
• Communicate and negotiate financing options with dealers, customers, sales reps, and internal partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, inside sales teams, and stakeholders.
• Manage a high-volume credit application pipeline with timely, well-supported decisions.
• Communicate approvals/declines and alternative financing solutions professionally.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, KYC, OFAC, and lending regulations.
• Participate in portfolio reviews, risk assessments, and process improvements.
