Starkey seeks an experienced Assistant Controller for its Retail segment to lead accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and strengthen controls. This role partners with retail and finance leaders to drive growth.

The position focuses on close processes, journal entries, and balance sheet integrity, while mentoring a high-performing team and supporting system enhancements to enable scalable profitability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years progressive accounting experience; 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience with retail, multi-location, or consumer products businesses preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead accounting activities for Starkey's Retail segment; ensure timely close.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and period-end reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and coordinate external audits.
• Collaborate with retail operations and FP&A to improve visibility.
• Mentor and develop accounting team members; drive process improvements.
• Support new initiatives, ERP enhancements, and operational changes.
