Gridmatic Inc. is seeking a Retail Assistant Controller to own the Retail entity's accounting and reporting, including daily to annual financial records and interfacing with ERP systems.

The successful candidate will leverage expertise in ERP tools, vendor payments, and MS Office to manage P&L, AR/AP, taxes, and audits in a fast-growth environment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Retail energy accounting experience (5–8 years).
• Bachelor’s in finance or accounting; CPA a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of GAAP financial statements.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP tools and vendor payment platforms.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily, monthly, quarterly and annual financials using ERP tools.
• Assist Retail Operations in recording sales payments and PnL files.
• Reconcile payroll and benefits; manage AR/AP aging reports.
• Oversee vendor payments via Bill.com and broker commissions.
• Maintain Retail cross-desk trades and regulatory reporting.
• Support year-end audits, tax, and regulatory filings.
• Prepare cash flow updates and assist with 1099 filings.
• Collaborate with internal teams on payments and receipts; ad-hoc projects.
