Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• PMP and LEED AP preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience with design and construction of retail properties.
• Experience with design and construction coordination and project management.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Proven ability to perform financial analysis of construction cost.
• Willingness to travel across the assigned portfolio for day visits, with occasional overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Drives landlord and tenant design, permitting and construction process to achieve optimal rent commencements.
• Gathers information required by leasing to market tenant spaces.
• Manages construction projects from estimating through closeout for retail properties.
• Coordinates with Federal Realty departments, consultants, tenants, and 3rd party managers.
• Creates conceptual estimates for lease budgeting.
• Reviews construction exhibits for Leasing or Legal.
