Job summary

RPD Builders in Palm Harbor, FL, is hiring a Mid-Level Project Manager for national retail construction projects. You will own 3–5 projects ($1M–$3M each), delivering on time, on budget, and to the brand standard.

This field-forward role requires travel about 50% of the time, with on-site oversight and cross-functional coordination to keep trades, superintendents, and our retail partner aligned. Strong communication and proactive risk management are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing commercial tenant improvement/retail projects.
• Ability to travel nationally ~50% of the time.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Tampa Bay area (Palm Harbor).

Responsibilities

• On-site oversight of active project locations to monitor progress and safety.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and change orders with clear documentation.
• Bid, buy out, and award trade packages; enforce scopes and resolve disputes.
• Lead full project lifecycle across multiple sites concurrently.
• Maintain current schedules and ensure field teams meet milestones.
• Coordinate with partner and design stakeholders and lead weekly meetings.
• Deliver locations to brand standards and report status using Procore/Smartsheet.
