Job summary

Schimenti Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Rye Brook, NY office. The role leads construction projects, coordinates planning, and ensures objectives are achieved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing retail construction projects.
• Proficient with Procore or similar RFIs systems.
• Strong verbal presentation skills and ability to lead meetings.
• Travel to assigned projects as required.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in supporting jobs and project management teams in each phase including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services.
• Identify and focus on critical issues related to constructability including associated costs and logistical issues.
• Ensure that jobs are completed according to schedule and meet profit goals.
• Develop, nurture, and maintain ongoing client, architect, subcontractor, and industry relationships.
• Review subcontractor and vendor invoices and approve for payment; negotiate changes.
• Oversee change orders and RFIs, prepare as needed.
• Keep consistent lines of communication with clients and share progress and budget matters.
