Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking a Construction Manager to support the Development Department in expansion, renovation, and ground-up projects. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and on-site activities while guiding design and coordinating with operations, leasing, and tenant coordination teams.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in CM/Architecture/Engineering and 5–10 years of construction PM experience in retail or mixed-use settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering.
• 5-10 years of general contractor project management experience.
• Experience in retail, restaurant, entertainment, hospitality or mixed-use construction.
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project team lead, driving execution with cross-functional partners.
• Oversee project reporting and budget forecasting.
• Manage contract administration, including approvals of contracts, change orders, budgets, and vendor payments.
• Oversee performance of contractors and consultants.
• Lead regional construction meetings and activity reporting.
