Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Director of Construction to lead multi-state commercial retail development projects in a field-based role with direct oversight from our headquarters. You will own site development, permitting, construction, inspections, and closeout across a growing network of locations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction, retail development, and strong vendor management. Travel up to 50% is required; relocation to MA may be necessary.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience, retail development preferred.
• Proven leadership in multi‑site projects and field-based execution.
• Strong knowledge of permitting, zoning, codes, and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground-up commercial construction and retail development projects across multiple states.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, safety, and quality from site development to turnover.
• Manage relationships with GC's, subcontractors, architects, engineers and officials.
