Job summary

Böhme in Utah is seeking a dynamic Co-Manager to oversee daily store operations and lead a sales-driven team. You will manage staffing, customer service, merchandising, and loss prevention while partnering with field leadership to hit sales and profit targets.

The role requires retail management experience, strong communication, and hands-on supervision of cash handling and POS systems. A high school diploma is required; relocation not needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or equivalent education.
• Ability to count and perform retail mathematical equations.
• Excellent organization, verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work POS, and other store computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full staff for all store positions through hiring and promotion with succession planning with the Store Manager.
• Recruit, interview, and select candidates for all store positions.
• Address performance issues and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Develop staff schedules including meal and break periods, overtime, schedule reductions and resolving scheduling issues.
• Train, supervise, develop and motivate sales staff to achieve store sales goals.
• Participate in weekly management meetings.
• Promote and motivate staff during company sales contests.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation is maintained at all times as directed by field leadership and merchandising team.
• Achieve pre-determined payroll budgets.
• Resolve customer service concerns professionally.
• Supervise cash handling and bank procedures; manage timely accounting of cash flow.
• Keep POS usage and related technology up to date.
• Secure store assets and maintain loss prevention standards.
• Maintain authority for all aspects of the store and delegate as needed.
• Establish good relationships with customers and mall staff.
• One Sunday shift a month is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
