Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time Retail Environmental Service Team Member to maintain a clean, safe store environment and assist customers with shopping. You will perform cleaning tasks, stock shelves, and support checkout and omnichannel processes including BOPIS and Ship from Store.

Weekend and night shifts are common in this role. Applicants must be 16 years or older and adhere to all SOPs and safety guidelines; the role offers employee discounts and benefits

Qualifications

• Public retail store setting focused on customer care.
• Public areas climate controlled; some stock rooms may not be.
• Some outdoor work when retrieving carts or unloading trucks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
• Dust, damp mop floors, collect and dispose of trash.
• Deep clean key areas (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways).
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and assist with rewards enrollment.
