Job summary

You will perform janitorial duties and maintenance as directed by Store Management to ensure an attractive environment for customers and associates.

The role requires ability to read and follow English instructions, stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work cooperatively with others.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English clearly.
• Stand/walk for entire shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs frequently.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Follow store policies and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and recycling per Store Management.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and fixtures.
• Replenish restroom paper and soap supplies.
• Clean, mop, sweep, and maintain floors.
• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
• Collect and return shopping carts.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
• Follow all store rules and safety procedures.
