Job summary

WhiteCap Search is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in New Jersey. The role focuses on retail chargebacks, deductions, claims research, and customer account resolution across major retailers and brands.

The ideal candidate brings 1–3+ years of AR experience in a consumer goods or wholesale environment, strong Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and hands-on ERP exposure (Microsoft Dynamics AX).

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of AR experience in retail chargebacks.
• Experience with retail deductions, pricing issues, returns, or disputes.
• Experience with Client, consumer products, wholesale, or similar retail environments.
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve retail chargebacks and deductions.
• Research claims and discrepancies to determine validity and recovery.
• Prepare disputes and submit to customers to recover invalid chargebacks.
• Track chargeback activity, outcomes, recoveries, and trends.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Customer Management, EDI, and others to resolve claims.
• Review AR aging and assist collections as needed.
• Support transition from Microsoft Dynamics AX to SAP.
