You will handle lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales with proper age verification, upsell where possible, and assist across departments as needed. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required, with weekend and holiday availability essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Weekends and holidays availability required.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Able to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, cigarette and alcohol sales with age verification compliance.
• Upsell customers to increase sales where appropriate.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and outside, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves, coolers and displays to maintain fresh merchandise.
• Cross-train in other departments like deli as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
