Job summary

GPM Investments at Store 4304 in Springdale, AR is seeking a friendly Cashier/Sales Associate to greet customers, operate the register, and ensure a clean, safe store environment. You will handle age-restricted sales with proper verification and look for upsell opportunities to boost sales.

Candidates should be reliable, able to work weekends/holidays, and comfortable performing tasks indoors and outdoors in various weather. Prior retail experience is a plus but not required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math skills for transactions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register accurately and quickly.
• Handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification.
• Upsell products to increase sales.
• Keep store, bathrooms, lot, and pumps clean and safe.
• Stock shelves and maintain displays.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist where needed.
