Responsibilities:

1. Assist customers with finding items, answering questions, and addressing their needs.
2. Balance cash register transactions and promote additional sales while complying with all laws.
3. Ensure food safety standards for fresh and deli products using appropriate methods and technology.
4. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and perform trash runs.
5. Potential cross-training in departments like Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, and Maintenance, including leadership roles.
6. Lift and move items weighing 25+ pounds in various temperature conditions.
