Job summary

Lancaster Archery Supply is seeking a Cashier to provide excellent customer service at the Pro Shop checkout. This role involves assisting customers, locating products, and processing transactions with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 6 months of computer experience, can work 2 Saturdays per month, and will adhere to company policies while maintaining product knowledge and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2-3 shifts per week and 2 Saturdays per month.
• 6 months computer experience (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• Background check and drug test as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve POS activities in the Pro Shop.
• Assist customers with product location and purchases.
• Provide transactional assistance to clients and teammates as needed.
• Maintain product knowledge and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Assist with special orders, service orders, and facility maintenance.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

The Cashier provides excellent customer service during the checkout process. This team member is likely the last interaction with our client before leaving the Pro Shop.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and seek process improvement within the point of sale activities within the Lancaster Archery Supply Pro Shop.
• Merchandising assistance throughout Pro Shop.
• Assist clients to locate products within the Pro Shop.
• Provide transactional assistance to clients and fellow team members as needed.
• Maintain a comfort level with product knowledge.
• Uphold and support all company policies and procedures.
• Assist with operational tasks such as Special Orders, Service order andmaintenance of facility.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• 2-3 shifts per week and 2 Saturdays per month
• 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Must have acceptable background check and pass a drug test as required by company policy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, add-on sales, product features, and benefits.
• 1 year of retail experience.
• 1 year of retail experience as a cashier.

The physical requirements for this job function are as follows:

• Must be able to perform routine tasks with hands for a minimum of eight hours a day
• Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of eight hours a day
• Must be able to bend, twist and reach overhead to access items at varying levels
