Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to support front-end operations and ensure smooth checkout experiences. The role includes supervising cashiers, expediting price checks, approving POS transactions and markdowns across mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Pro Desk, and more.

Responsibilities include coaching and training Front End Associates, providing first level escalation for customer issues, and maintaining friendly, accurate service with a focus on safety and shrink prevention.

Qualifications

• Head Cashier preferred with 1+ years of cashier experience.
• Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service.
• Supervise, coach and train Front End Associates.

Responsibilities

• Process Checkout and/or Return transactions.
• Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
• Provide information and identify selling opportunities.
• Coach and develop other Cashiers.
