Base pay range

Pay: Starting at $18.00 an hour.

A Retail Cashier Floater is a versatile role providing coverage across multiple store locations within a region. Your work location may vary daily as you fill in for staff on leave, vacation, or open positions. This role offers opportunities to meet new people, learn new techniques, and gain valuable experience, with potential for additional leadership opportunities.

Shift and Requirements

• Full-time with open availability including weekends.
• Must be 21+ for this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Ring up sales, apply discounts, and follow all laws regarding restricted sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Follow safety and security guidelines.
• Assist with fueling and vehicle care as needed (in Oregon and for handicapped customers).
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Reconcile daily paperwork for floaters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Flexible to support 24/7 operations, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco (NV – also for slot machines).
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude.
• Previous retail or cashier experience preferred.
• Leadership qualities and teamwork orientation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 65 pounds occasionally.
• Work in conditions that may include heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes.
