Pay: Starting at $18.00 an hour.

A Retail Cashier Floater is a versatile role designed for individuals who provide coverage across multiple store locations within a specific region. Your work location may vary daily as you fill in for staff on leave, vacation, or open positions. As a Floater, you'll have the chance to meet new people, learn new techniques, and gain valuable experience while building your reputation. You may also be selected for additional leadership opportunities.

Shift and Requirements

• Full-time. Hired to work at multiple store locations.
• Must be 21+ for this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and thank them for their business
• Provide fast, friendly service and product information
• Ring up sales, apply discounts, and follow laws regarding restricted sales
• Maintain cleanliness and proper stock levels
• Follow safety guidelines and report incidents
• Fuel customers' cars and assist as needed (Oregon and other areas)
• Follow sanitation and food handling procedures
• Reconcile daily paperwork and deposits (Floaters only)
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate

• Flexible shifts including nights, holidays, weekends
• Legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco (NV – also for slot machines)
• Passionate about customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous retail or cashier experience
• Leadership qualities and teamwork

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and lift frequently
• Lift up to 20 pounds regularly and 65 pounds occasionally
• Work safely in various conditions including heat, cold, and exposure to chemicals
