Pay: Starting at $18.00 an hour.

A Retail Cashier Floater is a versatile role designed for individuals who provide coverage across multiple store locations within a specific region. Your work location may vary daily as you fill in for staff on leave, vacation, or open positions. As a Floater, you'll have the chance to meet new people, learn new techniques, and gain valuable experience while building your reputation. You may also be selected for additional leadership opportunities.

Shift: Full-time. Hired to work at multiple store locations.

Must be 21+ for this role.

What will I do as a Retail Cashier/Customer Service Floater?

• Greet every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back.
• Provide fast and friendly service and accurate product information; helping to build awareness of our products and services.
• Ring up sales and merchandise, offering applicable discounts/promotions while following all laws regarding restricted sales of tobacco and alcohol.
• Prepare cashier checkout reports accurately and according to policy.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Properly label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Be safety/security conscious and adhere to the guidelines in the Safety Manual. Report any incidents immediately.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Fuel customers' cars, check engine fluids, and wash customer windows as needed (required in Oregon and for handicapped customers elsewhere).
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling procedures are followed.
• Reconcile daily paperwork when covering shifts and completing deposits (Floaters only).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Can work flexible shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends, supporting a 24/7 operation.
• Are of legal age to sell restricted products (alcohol, tobacco, slot machines where applicable).
• Have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Possess excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude.
• Have previous retail or cashier experience.
• Lead by example and uphold integrity.
• Work well in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and perform physical tasks frequently.
• Lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 65 pounds occasionally.
• Work safely in conditions with heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes.
