Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is hiring a Retail Cashier for the Eureka Store. This hourly, full-time position offers a $15.50 hourly rate with bonus potential up to $250 monthly and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the cash register, handling transactions, maintaining store appearance, and supporting a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse workforce.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and acknowledge them as they enter the store and assist on the sales floor.
• Operate the store cash register, handle cash and credit card transactions, and balance the register.
• Keep the store area clean and organized, restock shelves, and maintain lighting and presentation.
• Assist with returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries with managers as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and uphold store policies and safety standards.
