Job summary

GPM Investments is seeking a part-time Cashier/Sales Associate for Store 8222 in Port Huron, MI. You will greet customers, run the register with accuracy, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe. This role requires reliability, the ability to stand most of your shift, and a willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift as needed.

You’ll gain weekly pay, flexible schedules, and opportunities for advancement. Prior retail experience is a plus, but we train on the job.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability: weekends and holidays.
• Stand for long periods and be on your feet.
• Basic math and cash handling abilities.
• Read/write/speak English.
• Pass pre-employment screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and operate the register accurately and quickly.
• Become proficient in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification compliance.
• Upsell customers to increase sales where appropriate.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and out (restrooms, pumps, parking lot).
• Stock shelves and displays; maintain clean entryways and windows.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed; follow safety procedures and policies.
