Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Effective reading, writing, speaking and understanding English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly, punctual and reliable demeanor.
• Detail-oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process transactions accurately and quickly.
• Become knowledgeable about lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with proper verification.
• Upsell customers to increase sales when possible.
• Keep interior and exterior store areas clean and safe.
• Stock shelves and displays; maintain tidy entryways.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed, including deli.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist where needed.
