Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is hiring a Sales Associate in Mount Pleasant, MI to be the heart of the store. You’ll greet customers, run the register, and help keep the store clean and inviting, including restrooms and pump areas.

You’ll deliver friendly service, stock shelves, and be willing to cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed. Weekend and holiday availability is required. We offer weekly pay, flexible schedules, 401(k), and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to greet customers with a friendly manner and operate a register with accuracy.
• Must be able to handle cash transactions and follow age verification rules for lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol.
• Willingness to cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Must have reliable work ethic, be able to work weekends/holidays, and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while ensuring compliance.
• Offer friendly service and upsell to increase sales.
• Keep store interior and exterior clean and safe, including restrooms, pumps, and parking area.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning entryways.
• Be ready to cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist wherever needed.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
