Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC’s Uncle's store in Odessa, TX is seeking a motivated Cashier/Sales Associate (Store 6384). You will greet customers, ring up transactions, and ensure compliance for lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules, weekly pay, a 401(k), and advancement opportunities. Prior experience helps but is not required; training is provided in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ required.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Be able to stand most of the shift, indoors/outdoors in all weather.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly, punctual, and customer-focused.
• Detail-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Learn lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while complying with age-verification laws.
• Upsell when possible to increase sales.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and out, including bathrooms and gas pumps area.
• Stock shelves and displays; maintain neat, inviting store appearance.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed (e.g., deli).
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
