Rural King is looking for a Cashier to deliver friendly, accurate service at the front end, processing transactions and assisting customers. You will promote store programs, handle routine cash procedures, and help keep the storefront clean and organized.

Ideal candidates bring customer service experience, attention to detail, and reliability, with a teamwork mindset and comfort using POS systems to support a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and other technology.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling, returns, exchanges, layaways, and price disputes.
• Answer customer questions and provide basic product information.
• Educate customers about Rural King Loyalty Program, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan.
• Respond to store calls using professional phone etiquette.
• Coordinate with loaders and associates to address customer needs.
• Reconcile registers and maintain accurate records.
