Job summary

GPM Investments is seeking a Cashier/Sales Associate for Store 17171 in Rector, AR. You will greet customers, operate the register with accuracy, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store.

Role includes handling lottery, tobacco and alcohol sales with proper age checks, providing friendly service, stocking, and supporting other departments as needed while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks during shifts.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division).
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly, welcoming demeanor and strong teamwork.
• Detail-oriented with strong reliability.
• Willing to adapt to various store tasks and departments.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification compliance.
• Offer friendly service and upsell where possible.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and out (restrooms, pumps area, lot).
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise appealing.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and entryways.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed (e.g., deli).
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist where needed.
