Your main responsibility is operating a register, but you will also be involved in cleaning, stocking shelves, receiving deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities of a Retail Cashier/Customer Service Associate

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Suggest possible purchases to promote store specials.
• Ring up sales and merchandise, offering discounts/promotions while following all policies and laws regarding restricted sales like alcohol and tobacco. Must be of legal age to sell and stock these products.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed.
• Clean the fast-food area and equipment, and restock as necessary.
• Follow proper sanitation, food handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
• Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting; reaching; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, or crouching; talking and listening.
• Frequently lift/move up to 20 pounds; occasionally up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in conditions that include heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/chemicals from gasoline and cleaning products.
