Hourly Rate: $15.00 Bonus Pay: Up to $250/month

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional Retail Cashier to join our OFallon IL Store team! Qualifications

• No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Organizational skills and ability to interact with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers entering the store, assist on the sales floor, and answer phones professionally.
• Operate the store cash register, handle cash and credit transactions, process discounts, and balance the register.
• Maintain store cleanliness by stocking, straightening, rotating, and cleaning.
• Assist with returns, exchanges, and customer complaints by consulting with managers.
• Uphold store cleanliness standards through sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.
• Build positive relationships with team members and leadership, and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Follow safe work practices and ensure hazard-free workplace by removing obstructions.
• Maintain a professional appearance according to dress code.
• Safeguard assets, including cash, donated, and purchased items, and report theft or unauthorized possession.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
