Position Type: Hourly Full-Time

Hourly Rate: $15.00

Bonus Pay: Up to $250/month

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers entering the store, assist on the sales floor, and answer the phone within three rings with a professional greeting.
• Operate the store cash register, handle cash and credit card transactions, process discounts, and balance the register.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and maintain the cleanliness of the store area efficiently and to standard.
• Request assistance from managers for returns, exchanges, and customer complaints.
• Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with team members and leadership, working cross-functionally to increase communication.
• Follow safe work practices through awareness and observation.
• Ensure the workplace is hazard-free by removing obstructions and keeping aisles and walkways debris-free.
• Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to MERS/Goodwill's dress code.
• Safeguard agency assets, including cash, donated, and purchased items, from harm, damage, or theft, and report any incidents.
• Adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
